Mekano and Carl A form the leading workshop of southern Sweden

Mekano and Carl A merge and form the leading workshop of southern Sweden for repairs and sales of industrial components.

As of January 1, 2024, a merger will be made between Carl A Nilssons Elektriska Reparationsverkstad and Mekano AB. This means that Carl A's operations will move to Mekano's premises at Gåsebäck in Helsingborg and that all operations and staff will move into Mekano.

“For the past two years, Carl A and Mekano have started a collaboration that makes it natural to continue to grow together. Through the merger, we broaden our personnel expertise, increase our reliability and stability, and create an attractive and sustainable workplace for our employees”, says Mattias Rosén, CEO of Mekano.

All employees will remain in their current positions. Carl A's current CEO Maria Hidalgo will take on the role as Vice President at Mekano with responsibility for Carl A's niche products and long-term focus on sustainability development, quality, and environment, as well as routines and processes for the organization.

• Industrial electrician – electrical service to industry including design, dimensioning, and programming of automatic equipment (electrical authorization)
• Electromechanical service, industrial maintenance in customer's plant
• Electromechanical service in our own workshop
• FU (Preventive maintenance)
• Sales of electromechanical equipment such as pumps, electric motors, gearboxes, drives, compressors, and vacuum equipment
• Service agreement for inspection of pump pits / substations
• Compressor service and sales
• Vacuum service
• Machining
• Water and wastewater – rebuilding, pipe welding
• Forging
• Balancing
• Rewinding AC motors
• Repairs and sales of cavern pumps for petroleum products and deep well pumps for drinking water supply
