Momentum Group acquires Börjesson Pipe Systems – strengthens its offering in profitable and sustainable flow technology

Momentum Group has today signed an agreement to acquire 100 percent of the shares in Börjesson Pipe Systems AB (“BPS”). BPS is a leading player in sustainable flow technology solutions and products. Through the acquisition, Momentum Group further strengthens its position as a leading supplier of industrial components and related services to Nordic industry. Closing takes place immediately and the acquisition is expected to have a marginal positive impact on Momentum Group's earnings per share during the current financial year. The acquisition is partially paid for by the transfer of 240,376 own B shares to the sellers at a price per share of SEK 62.40 corresponding to the volume-weighted average price of the company's B shares on Nasdaq Stockholm during the ten (10) trading days preceding the acquisition date.

– Company acquisitions are an important part of Momentum Group's growth strategy. We are now taking a further step in our Components business area together with BPS – a well-established company with strong customer relations and highly competent employees. Through the acquisition, we broaden the group's offer in sustainable flow technology. We therefore see good opportunities for further development, growth and acquisitions in this area, says Ulf Lilius, President and CEO of Momentum Group.

BPS is one of the leading players in the market for flow technology solutions and products. Since its formation in 2001, the company has grown steadily and today has an annual turnover of approximately SEK 50 million. BPS has been successful with own products such as WHP (Water Hammer Protector) to reduce water hammers, jet spray nozzles, design-patented jet spray lances and flow meter wells to reduce water leakage on drinking water networks. The own products complement the offer of products from leading manufacturers. The operations is based in Gothenburg, where the company also has its warehouse and can offer customers a wide selection of products and quick deliveries.

BPS will continue to be run as an independent subsidiary and competence center under current management within the Components business area in accordance with Momentum Group's philosophy of decentralized business responsibility.

 – At BPS we look forward to continuing our positive development within sustainable flow technology and developing our own products together with our customers and suppliers. With new successful sister companies and a new strong owner who shares our values and goals for a sustainable society – we look at the future with a strong confidence, says Torbjörn Börjesson, owner of BPS.
